The Windham Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Town Office at 6:00PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 to solicit comments from the public on proposed amendments to the town's zoning regulations. Proposed changes could affect Resource Protection Areas, Historic Districts, and standards for noise levels, turbine setbacks, development on ridgelines, extraction of earth resources, individual wind energy systems, solar energy systems and development within Regulated Flood Hazard Areas. ACT 250 NOTICE NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT OF PERMIT SERIES #2W1025 AND HEARING 10 V.S.A. CHAPTER 151 (Act 250) On June 19, 1996, Land Use Permit #2W1025 was issued and authorized the construction and operation of an indoor riding arena, two weather shelters, and a bedding bin; on October 31, 1996, amendment #2W1025-1 authorized the extension of the completion date for planting trees. The project is located at 1130 Upper Dummerston Road in the Town of Brattleboro, Vermont. On December 1, 2017, Henry Taggard, through his agent James Maxwell, Esq., filed a petition to the District 2 Environmental Commission (Commission) to declare the permits abandoned by non-use.
