PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Windham Regional Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Westminster Town Hall, Westminster VT to consider the request of the Town of Westminster for determination of energy compliance of its Town Plan Enhanced Energy Element as provided by 24 VSA 4352. The WRC will consider whether the Town Plan is consistent with the Vermont Energy Goals, compatible with the Windham Regional Plan, compatible with the approved plans of other Towns in the region, and meets the Energy Planning Standards. TOWN OF BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT Amendment to the Code of Ordinances August 21, 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Selectboard of the Town of Brattleboro on August 21, 2018 at a duly warned meeting adopted the following AMENDMENTS to Chapter 8 (Health, Sanitation and Fire Safety Inspections), Article Three (Rental Housing Code), Sections 8-30 (Adoption of State Rental Housing Code) and 8-31 (Enforcement of State Rental Housing Code) of the Code of Ordinances, of the Brattleboro Code of Ordinances, viz: Chapter 8 - HEALTH, SANITATION AND FIRE SAFETY INSPECTIONS Article Three - Rental Housing Code Section 8-30. Town of Brookline Invitation to Bid Winter plowing and sanding Bids are being solicited for winter plowing and sanding of all public roads in the Town of Brookline. This also includes the removal of snow at the town's recycling center, town hall parking lot, and driveway access at the Brookline Meeting House. Town of Newfane, Vermont Notice of Public Hearing On Road Reclassification Pursuant to 19 V.S.A. 709 Vermont Statutes Annotated, the Selectboard of the Town of Newfane hereby gives notice to owners or persons interested in lands and rights that may be affected by a decision of said Selectboard, acting on a petition to reclassify a currently private road. The petition asks that Daniels Hill Road be reclassified as a Class 3 town highway. The Selectboard will meet at Daniels Hill Road in South Newfane, Vermont at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018 to conduct a site inspection of the road, and then meet at the Newfane Town Offices, 555 Vermont Route 30, Newfane, Vermont at 6:00 p.m. to conduct a hearing on the question of whether to take over Daniels Hill Road. The North Branch Fire District #1, a wastewater treatment facility located in West Dover Vermont, is seeking an Operator. Performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation of the District's wastewater facility, daily operation and monitoring of influent and effluent conditions. Work will include, but is not limited to, laboratory analysis, collection system maintenance and repairs, equipment maintenance, grounds care and performs pump runs on a daily basis. Responsible for the collection of water quality samples as applicable. Operates and maintains plant equipment including pump control systems, alarm signals, chemical feed systems, and belt filter press. Make adjustments in plant operations as needed due to seasonal changes, quality changes, maintenance schedules or special programs or circumstances. Perform other duties as assigned. Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) is seeking responses to its Request for Qualifications for Construction Management Services At-Risk for the renovation and expansion of an existing 24,000 square foot industrial building in the Exit 1 Industrial Park located at 343 John Seitz Drive in Brattleboro, VT. The project is currently in the design development phase with an anticipated construction start in spring 2019. The project consists of site prep, renovation of the existing 1980s industrial building, and the construction of a 23,097 square foot single-story addition. This project will involve interior selective demolition, site and parking improvements.
