Request for Proposal - The Town of Brookline is seeking to hire a consultant well versed in analyzing the source, cause and modes of mitigation of mold / mildew growth in an unheated 19th century historic brick building. The scientific investigation and analysis of the presence of mold in said building should include identifying the methods and materials necessary to modify the environment within the building, so that the visible and invisible mold source is corrected in such a way as to prevent its recurrence in the future. Said consultant must demonstrate previous experience with providing an accurate assessment with successful results. Certifications and evidence of insurance must be included with the bid for the assessment. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid it deems most favorable to the town.
