Legal Notice Pursuant to Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, Section 5A(1) be advised that the Commissioners of the Brattleboro Housing Authority will hold a public hearing on April 16th at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Moore Court to consider and take action on the 2018 Annual Plan for the Brattleboro Housing Authority. The 2018 plan includes the provisions for smoke free areas at Ledgewood Heights, Moore Court and Melrose Terrace. The Plans and their accompanying documents will be available for review at the Main Office in Melrose Terrace 45 days before the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the Brattleboro Housing Authority, P.O. Box 2275, Brattleboro, VT 05303 prior to the hearing. Smoke-Free Legal Notice In compliance with HUD regulations found at Part 965 PHA Owned or Leased Projects - General Provisions; Subpart G-Smoke-Free Public Housing, Sections .651 to 655 and Part 966-Public Housing Lease and Grievance Procedure Section .4 Lease requirements; The BHP will be adopting a Policy and Lease addendum that comply with these regulations. The Board of Commissioners shall take written comment until March 31, 2018. This will be on their agenda for the March 19th regular meeting to be held in Hayes Court starting at 5:30. The policy and lease addendum will be presented at their April meeting for adoption.
