WINDHAM SOUTHEAST SUPERVISORY UNION Director of Human Resources Windham Southeast Supervisory Union is hiring a Director of Human Resources. Responsibilities include working with school administrators to create employment contracts, meeting with all new hires to explain benefits, processing and maintaining criminal record checks, collecting and compiling various data reports for internal, federal, state and local requests. The Director of Human Resources works closely with the payroll officer, chief financial officer and superintendent of schools. The person hired for this position must be energetic, very well organized and extremely people oriented. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and accuracy and excellent communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new applications is a must. High school diploma or equivalent with some college or technical coursework is required. Associates degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience in the Human Resource field is preferred. Competitive wage and benefit package offered. Responsibilities include overseeing health and dental benefits for 700 employees. This position works closely with WSESU Director of Human Resources and the Payroll Officer to assist with administration of the district's health, Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), IRS Section 125 and Cobra plans, dental, long-term disability including enrollments, terminations and familiarity with all plans. Must maintain regular contact with insurance carriers to resolve problem situations or obtain answers to employee questions and concerns.
